The Firebrand Cyber Crime Protect (Cyber Aware) course in intended to build on the learning from the foundation course, developing these techniques and principles and focusing on the concepts of cybersecurity in support of cyber resilience, infrastructure security, defence and response and information security.

At course completion learners will have knowledge of the following areas:
At the end of this course, you will have proven that you have the knowledge and skills to support the role of a Protect Officer and understand the responsibilities of security disciplines across an organisation. You will also be able to sit the BCS Foundation Certificate in Information Security Management Principles.
There will also be the option on the last day, for those that wish, to take an additional certification: The (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity entry-level certification. Both these certifications will add credibility to the role of the Protect Officer by demonstrating a level of proficiency through industry recognised certifications.
Your accelerated course includes:
Delegates should have completed a series of College of Policing packages prior to attendance and be actively involved in a law enforcement, MoD or HMG agency cyber-related units or a Cyber Protect team.
Delegates should have completed the Firebrand Cyber Crime Foundation course or equivalent.
