Object-Oriented Programming

• Construct and analyse web applications
• Describe and configure web hosting
• Describe and configure web services
• Describe and identify architectural patterns

Databases

• Design and normalise a database
• Construct, analyse and optimise ANSI SQL queries
• Manage transactions
• Describe database access methods
• Describe types of NoSQL databases

As part of your course, you’ll sit the official exam at the Firebrand Training Centre, covered by your Certification Guarantee.

• Number of questions: 35 - 45
• Question type: Multiple-choice
• Exam duration: 50 minutes

Candidates for this exam are seeking to prove core software development skills, including object-oriented programming, web applications, and databases.

Candidates are expected to have some experience with C# and ANSI SQL.

Candidates should have at least 150 hours of instruction or hands-on experience with concepts related to programming, software development, object-oriented programming, web applications, and databases.

To be successful on the test, the candidate is also expected to have the following perquisite knowledge and skills:

• 8th grade reading skills
• Algebra II
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• At least one object-oriented language (C#, Java, C++)
• SQL queries, XML, JSON
