BCS Practitioner Certificate in Information Assurance Architecture (PCIAA)

On this BCS Practitioner Certificate in Information Assurance Architecture (PCIAA) course, you’ll learn how to build an architecture that fits business requirements, mitigates the risks and conforms to the relevant security policies, and how to balance information risk against the cost of countermeasures.

You’ll learn to identify information risks that arise from potential solution architectures, as well as design alternate architectures or countermeasures to mitigate identified information risks.

You’ll also build knowledge on:

BCS Practitioner Certificate in Information Assurance Architecture (PCIAA) exam

• Duration: 2 hours
• Format:
• Section A contains 60 simple multiple questions each worth one mark
• Section B contains 25 scenario-based complex multiple-choice questions with a maximum of 65 marks available
• Passing score: 81/125 (65%)
• Languages: English

There are no formal prerequisites to attend this course; however, BCS recommend that you have an understanding of information assurance.

Individuals who successfully complete their first examination of any BCS qualification will qualify for a free one-year Professional BCS Membership.
