    Salary

    As an apprentice, you're actually studying and being employed at the same time, so you receive a salary.

      Open to all

      Anyone can be an apprentice, regardless of employment status, age, or other factors.

        So, how do you go about it?

        Figure out what you’re interested in

        Check out IT blogs, job postings, company websites – put a name to what you would like to do – e.g., Software Development Technician, IT Sales Technician, Digital Marketer, etc.

        Ask your employer if they run Apprenticeships

        If you’re employed, ask your employer if they run Apprenticeships in your area of interest and ask to transfer.

        Requirements for Apprentices:

        ● Be in full-time employment (30+ hours per week) or part-time (minimum 16 hours).

        ● Have a contract of employment for the apprenticeship duration and be paid at least the legal minimum wage.

        ● Be a UK or EEA citizen or have the right of abode in the UK, with at least three years of residency in England.

        ● Be in a new role (less than 9 months old) or in an existing role that requires new skills aligned with the apprenticeship.

        ● Not be enrolled in another apprenticeship at the same time.
